Mapping in drupal using the gmap, location and views module

In this screencast we will learn how to integrate the gmap, location and views module together. This is the second part on our series of working with maps in drupal. To follow this tutorial, you should have these three modules already installed and configured:

gmap

location

Views

Upon installing and configuring this modules you want to create a content type for which you will be using the location field.

To learn how to configure the gmap and location module, watch the first part of the screencast here. In this tutorial, we would learn how we can display maps anywhere on our drupal sites using any views display we like. After displaying our different markers on the map, we also changed the settings to enable us see informations about our markers when hovered or clicked.

Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make
your point. You clearly know what youre talking about, why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your
site when you could be giving us something informative to read?

Hello, I have a problem with getting the markers shown up on my map. I have followed your video exactly and still nothing.

Do you know how I can solve this problem?

Kind regards

Marc

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in gmap_plugin_style_gmap->render() (line 240 of sites/all/modules/gmap/gmap_plugin_style_gmap.inc).

To:
$base = base_path();
$ret[$base . variable_get('file_public_path', conf_path() . '/files') . '/js/gmap_markers.js'] = array(
